# Managing your account, language and installing ListPlus as an app

Two things live in your avatar menu that don't fit elsewhere: managing
your account, and switching the app's language. Installing ListPlus as a
browser app is a separate, browser-level feature.

## Manage Account

Open the avatar menu at the bottom of the left navigation and choose
**Settings …** to open **Manage Account** — a panel showing your account
profile. Since sign-in is email address plus a one-time code only, there's
no password to change here; see "[Account and sign-in](https://listplus.ai/en/help/account/account-and-login)" for how sign-in
itself works.

## Your name in a workspace

Your teammates see your display name in the member list, next to AI
Research runs you start, and in invitations you send. To change it, open the
workspace menu (workspace name on Home, or the workspace row in your avatar
menu) → **Members & invites**, click the pencil icon (**Change my name**)
next to your own entry, type the new name and press Enter. The name belongs
to your account, so it shows the same in every workspace.

## Language

The app is available in **English**, **German** and **Spanish**; **French**
can also be selected, but only parts of the app are translated so far, and
the rest appears in English. Switch it from the avatar menu's **Language**
submenu, which lists all four and marks your current choice with a
checkmark — the change applies immediately, no reload needed, and your
choice is remembered in this browser. Invitation e-mails you send to
colleagues are written in your current app language.

## Installing ListPlus as a browser app

ListPlus isn't in the App Store or Google Play (see "Using ListPlus on a
phone or tablet"), but it can be installed as an app straight from your
browser, since it's built to support that. On a computer, look for an
install icon in the address bar (Chrome, Edge) and click it; on a phone,
use your browser's own menu — usually **Add to Home Screen** on iPhone
Safari, or **Install app** on Android Chrome. An installed ListPlus opens
in its own window without the browser's address bar, at the same
listplus.ai/app address either way.

### Where do I manage my account details?

Open the avatar menu at the bottom of the left navigation and click "Settings …" — it opens "Manage Account," a panel with your account profile. There's no password to manage, since sign-in uses only your email address and a one-time code.

### How do I change the app language?
