Names, companies and job titles share the same kinds of problems — bad
capitalization, placeholder text, leftover LinkedIn scraping noise, and
values leaked from the wrong field. This topic lists the actual checks
behind those issues.

## Name checks

Capitalization: **Name in ALL CAPS**, **Name in all lowercase**, **Unusual
Capitalization** (e.g. "jOHN"), **Partial ALL CAPS in Name** (e.g. "Frank
KOHLER"). Content problems: **Missing Name**, **Placeholder Name** ("test",
"N/A"), **Single Character Name**, **Name Too Long**, **Invalid Characters
in Name**, **Numbers in Name**, **Identical First and Last Name**. Field
mix-ups: **Full Name in Field**, **Email in Name Field**. Scraping/format
artifacts: **Title Prefix in Name** (Dr., Prof., Herr, Frau), **Suffix in
Last Name** (Jr., III), **Credential Suffix in Name** (MBA, PhD, CPA),
**Connection Degree in Name** (LinkedIn's "· 1st"), **Middle Initial in
