# Starting a search from a link (deep links)

You can open **Person Search** with a person already filled in, or even
already searched, by adding parameters to its URL — useful for linking into
ListPlus from a CRM, an email tool or your own script.

## The parameters

Add these after `https://listplus.ai/app/search?`:

Parameter names are not case-sensitive and ignore underscores, so
`first_name`, `firstName` and `firstname` all work — `first_name` is the
form to use when you're writing the link by hand.

## Safety limits on add-ons

An `addons` link can only auto-run **up to 4 add-ons**, and only ones that
cost **12 credits or less each** — anything more expensive, or available
only on Premium, is skipped and stays a manual click in the profile
instead. This keeps a link from silently running up a large charge on
your account. Add-ons only auto-run when you're signed in, and only the
first four ids in the list count, even if some of them are skipped.

## Where to look up every add-on id

A reference page lists every available add-on id and its price, plus the
worked example above: open **listplus.ai/app/search/help** in a browser.
It isn't linked from the app's navigation — bookmark it if you're building
links regularly.

## Links to a specific row or saved contact

ListPlus also creates links that open one exact record: the **Open in
ListPlus** links in pipeline messages (Slack and e-mail digests) open either
the row in its list — selected, with the record panel open — or the contact
in **Saved**, with its detail view open. These links only work when you're
signed in and a member of the workspace the record belongs to. Saved now
lives at `listplus.ai/app/saved`; older bookmarks and links to
`/app/contacts` are redirected there automatically.

### Do the parameter names need exact capitalization?

No — `first_name`, `firstName` and `firstname` are all understood the same way, but writing links with underscores (`first_name`) is the documented form to use.
