# Buying credits Source: https://listplus.ai/en/help/plans-credits-billing/buying-credits Last updated: 2026-09-28 Credits are bought in fixed packs, paid for through Stripe, and land on your balance automatically as soon as the payment succeeds. You can buy a pack on any plan, including Basic, and credits never expire. ## Where to buy credits The **Purchase Credits** window opens from a few places once you're signed in, always showing the same four packs: - **Plans & Billing** (open it from your avatar menu) → **Buy Credits** button. - Your avatar menu → the **Balance** row (click your credit amount directly). - The credit balance shown at the bottom of the left navigation — clicking it opens the same window. - Automatically, whenever an action would cost more credits than you have: ListPlus opens the same window with a note about what you were trying to do. Buying credits doesn't resume that action for you — top up, then run the action again yourself. Buying credits needs a signed-in account. Anonymous visitors don't see the Balance row or the navigation balance at all; **Plans & Billing → Buy Credits** is the one entry point they can reach, and it asks them to sign up first (free, no credit card needed) before the purchase window opens. ## Buying credits in a workspace Credits you buy always go to **your own** balance, and your balance pays for the workspaces you own. In a workspace someone else owns, everything is paid from the owner's balance: there is no **Buy Credits** button on Plans & Billing, and the places above open a note ("Balance empty – please ask … to top up") instead of the Purchase Credits window. Ask the owner to top up. Your plan is Basic, Pro or Premium (see "[Plans and pricing](https://listplus.ai/en/help/plans-credits-billing/plans-and-pricing)"); there is no Enterprise plan. MOST POPULAR and BEST VALUE are fixed labels on the Basic and Enterprise packs, not a ranking that changes. "% cheaper", shown on the Basic, Pro and Enterprise cards, compares that pack's price per credit with the Starter pack's — the baseline everything else is measured against. ## How checkout works The window opens with the Basic pack preselected. Click a card to select a different pack, then click the buy button at the bottom, for example **Buy 500 Cr · €15**. This takes you to Stripe Checkout, ListPlus's payment provider, in the same tab. Stripe accepts credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, adds VAT on top of the net price based on your location and VAT ID, and lets business customers enter a VAT ID on the checkout page itself — see "[Invoices and VAT](https://listplus.ai/en/help/plans-credits-billing/invoices-and-vat)" for details. ## When credits arrive, and where you land Credits are added to your balance as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, normally within a few seconds of finishing checkout. You're first returned to Plans & Billing, then automatically taken on to Home about two seconds later — your balance is normally already updated by the time you land there. ## If payment fails or you close the window If you cancel checkout, close the tab, or the payment doesn't go through, you're simply returned to Plans & Billing with nothing charged and no credits added. You can start the purchase again at any time; nothing about your account or existing credits changes. ## Invoices For an invoice for a credit pack, email support@listplus.ai. Every purchase appears as PURCHASE with its euro amount on your Usage page, so you always have a record even before an invoice arrives — see "[Invoices and VAT](https://listplus.ai/en/help/plans-credits-billing/invoices-and-vat)" for more. ## For advanced users Each payment is credited to your balance once, matched to the pack you paid for. Open Plans & Billing from your avatar menu and click Buy Credits to open the Purchase Credits window, or click your credit balance in the left navigation or in the avatar menu — all three open the same window. In a workspace you don't own, these places ask you to contact the owner instead, because only the owner can top up that workspace's balance. ### Which credit packs are there and what do they cost? There are four packs: Starter (150 credits, €5), Basic (500 credits, €15), Pro (1,000 credits, €30) and Enterprise (3,500 credits, €100). The price per credit drops as the pack gets bigger, from 3.3 cents down to 2.9 cents. ### Which pack is the best value? The Enterprise pack (3,500 credits, €100) has the lowest price per credit, about 2.9 cents, and carries the BEST VALUE label. The Basic pack (500 credits, €15) carries the MOST POPULAR label — these are fixed labels on those two packs, not a live ranking. ### What does the "% cheaper" note on a pack mean? It shows how much less you pay per credit on that pack compared with the smallest pack, Starter. The Starter pack itself shows no percentage, since it's the baseline every other pack is compared against. ### Can I buy a custom number of credits? No — there are only the four fixed packs (150, 500, 1,000 or 3,500 credits); there's no option to enter a custom amount. If none of the sizes fit, buy the closest one and top up again later. ### Do several credit purchases add up? Yes. Every pack you buy adds its credits to the same balance, so you can buy as many packs as you like, at any time, and they all stack — there's no limit on how many purchases you make. ### Which payment methods are accepted? ListPlus uses Stripe for checkout, which accepts credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is handled entirely on Stripe's secure checkout page, not inside ListPlus. ### Can I pay by bank transfer, SEPA direct debit or PayPal? The purchase window lists credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. For anything else, contact support@listplus.ai — an alternative isn't guaranteed. ### Do I need a paid plan to buy credits? No. Credit packs are available on every plan, including Basic, since credits and plans are billed separately. You do need a signed-in ListPlus account; anonymous visitors are asked to sign up first. ### When do purchased credits show up in my balance? Credits are added automatically as soon as Stripe confirms your payment, normally within a few seconds. Your balance updates on its own — no manual refresh or claim step needed. ### Where do I end up after paying? You're first sent back to Plans & Billing, then automatically on to Home about two seconds later. If you opened the purchase window because an action was blocked, that action doesn't resume by itself — go back and run it again once you're topped up; a stopped AI Research run has a Resume button instead. ### I paid but don't see the credits — what now? Give it a couple of minutes after checkout, since crediting happens right after Stripe confirms the payment and can occasionally lag slightly. If your balance still hasn't updated after that, contact support@listplus.ai with the approximate time of purchase and they'll sort it out. ### Is there automatic top-up when I run low? No. ListPlus never charges you automatically — you always pick a pack and confirm the purchase yourself.
