Sublists (segments) and tags
A sublist is a named, saved rule — a filter with a color and a live count — that shows the rows it applies to right now. Tags are a separate, lighter way to label individual rows by hand.
Sublists#
Open More → Sublists to see, create, filter by and manage them. A list can have up to 30 sublists, and each needs its own name.
Creating a sublist#
Click New. The Create Sublist dialog asks for a name, a color and Which rows belong to it? You can start from a template or choose Write my own rule.
- Templates — Decision makers, No email, Risky email, LinkedIn ready, Personal email, Role mailboxes and Company missing, plus "Ready for …" for your workspace's first goals. Only templates that fit your list's columns are shown.
- Write my own rule — the same rule editor as in list triggers. Pick a field (a column, Status, Tags, Email verification, a pipeline's state or a goal), a comparison and, where needed, values. Rules work on text, numbers and dates, and also on computed columns such as a score, a tier or a Label column.
Click + AND condition to add a condition to a group — a row must match every condition in the group. Click + OR group to add a second group — a row belongs to the sublist as soon as it matches one of the groups.
Below the rule, the dialog shows how many rows match right now ("12 of 480 rows match right now"), so you can check the rule before you save it.
How a sublist stays up to date#
A sublist is not a snapshot. Its count and its rows follow the data in the grid live: change a cell and the row joins or leaves the sublist right away. Hidden rows are never counted.
Putting rows into a sublist by hand#
You can't add or remove single rows — the rule alone decides. To collect rows by hand, tag them (for example "Priority") and make a sublist with the rule Tags is one of "Priority". Every row you tag then appears in it, and removing the tag takes the row out again.
Using and managing a sublist#
Click a sublist's name to filter the grid to it; click it again (or click Show all rows) to clear the filter. Each sublist shows its own row count. While a sublist is active, the ⋯ menu offers Export Sublist "Name". Use the pencil icon to change its name, color or rule, and the trash icon to delete it — deleting a sublist doesn't delete its rows, only the saved filter.
A sublist can't be deleted while an agent (an API connection) is limited to it. The message names the agent; remove the sublist from that connection's Sublist Visibility first.
Tags#
Tags are free-text labels on individual rows, shown in the built-in Tags column at the end of the grid. Click a row's Tags cell to open the tag editor: type to search your existing tags or create a new one, and click a tag to toggle it on or off — a row can carry any number of tags. Tag changes save themselves in the background, like every other edit.
Sublists vs. tags#
Use a sublist when you want to filter the grid to a group that a rule can describe, or run an enrichment, check or export on just that group. Use tags for quick labels you set by hand (for example "called," "vip," "wrong number"). The two work together: a sublist with a Tags rule turns a tag into a group you can filter by.

FAQ#
What's the difference between a sublist and a tag?#
A sublist is a named, saved rule that shows the rows it applies to right now, and you can filter the whole grid by it. A tag is a free-text label you put on individual rows by hand, shown in the Tags column. A sublist with the rule "Tags is one of …" shows all rows that carry a tag.
How do I create a sublist?#
Open More → Sublists and click New. Give it a name and a color, then pick a template or choose Write my own rule under "Which rows belong to it?". The dialog shows how many rows match before you save.
How do I put rows into a sublist by hand?#
Tag them. A sublist has no hand-picked rows — its rule decides. Give the rows a tag (for example "Priority") and create a sublist with the rule "Tags is one of Priority"; every tagged row appears in it, and removing the tag takes the row out.
If a sublist has several conditions, does a row need to match all of them or any of them?#
Both are possible. Conditions inside one group are combined with AND ("+ AND condition") — a row must match all of them. Separate groups are combined with OR ("+ OR group") — a row belongs to the sublist if it matches at least one group.
What can a sublist rule look at?#
Any column (text, numbers, dates, and computed columns such as a score, a tier or a Label column), plus Status, Tags, the email verification, a pipeline's state and your goals. It is the same rule editor as in list triggers.
Which sublist templates are there?#
Decision makers, No email, Risky email, LinkedIn ready, Personal email, Role mailboxes and Company missing, plus "Ready for …" for your workspace's first goals. Only those that fit your list's columns are offered. Placeholder names, names in ALL CAPS and outdated job titles are found — and fixed — in the Analyze panel instead.
Why does my sublist's count look wrong?#
The count follows the data in the grid live, so it changes as soon as a cell changes. Hidden rows are never counted, which is the usual reason for a lower number than expected. Open the sublist's rule with the pencil icon to check its conditions — the dialog shows how many rows match right now.
How many sublists can a list have?#
Up to 30, and each needs its own name — two sublists in one list can't share a name.
Why can't I delete a sublist?#
An agent (API connection) is limited to it. The message names the agent: open that connection's permissions, remove the sublist under Sublist Visibility, then delete it. Deleting a sublist never deletes rows.
How do I add a tag to a row?#
Click that row's cell in the Tags column to open the tag editor, then type to search or create a tag and click it to add it — a row can have multiple tags, and they save automatically.
Can I filter or sort by tags?#
Yes — the Tags column supports the grid's normal search, filter and sort, so you can find rows by tag directly. For a saved group with a live count, make a sublist with the rule "Tags is one of …".
