# Trigger templates

A trigger template opens the trigger editor already filled in. Nothing
runs until you save, so you can change the conditions and actions first.
Find the templates under **Choose a template** when a list has no trigger
yet, or in a fold-out below your triggers once it has some. Setting up
triggers is for the workspace's owner and admins.

## The six templates

- **Spot decision makers** — new or changed C-level, founder or VP contacts
  get the status "Qualified".
- **Find work emails** — new or changed contacts whose business e-mail can
be found are enriched; "Charged only when found".
- **Forward leads** — ready decision makers with a business e-mail go to a
  pipeline you choose.
- **Clean up your list** — freemail, disposable and info@ addresses get the
tag "Freemail" and are marked as ignored.
- **Enrich, then pass on** — two linked triggers. Step 1 enriches new
decision makers' e-mails; after you save it, step 2 opens to send them to
a pipeline. If you cancel step 2, only step 1 stays.
- **Notify your team** — new decision makers with a business e-mail go to
your Slack pipeline (the workspace's first one, otherwise you choose) and
  get the status "Qualified".

**Spot decision makers** and **Notify your team** use the status "Qualified".
If your list has none, the template creates it when you pick it. If you
then cancel the editor and nothing uses that status, it is removed again.

While the list is filtered, **Use current filter** comes first. Or choose
**Build your own trigger**.

## FAQ

### Which trigger templates are there?

Six: Spot decision makers, Find work emails, Forward leads, Clean up your list, Enrich, then pass on and Notify your team. Each opens the editor filled in and nothing runs until you save.

### What does "Spot decision makers" do?

It gives new or changed C-level, founder and VP contacts the status "Qualified". The list gets that status when you pick the template if it has none, and it is removed again if you cancel and nothing uses it.

### What does "Find work emails" do, and what does it cost?

It adds an Enrich action that looks for a business e-mail on new or changed contacts that lack one. It is charged only when an address is found; the price is in the price list.

### What does "Clean up your list" do?

Freemail, disposable and info@ addresses get the tag "Freemail" and are marked as ignored, so they drop out of your working view. You can change the conditions or the tag before you save.

### How does "Enrich, then pass on" work with two triggers?

Step 1 enriches the e-mail of new decision makers. After you save it, step 2 opens as a "Forward leads" draft that sends them to the pipeline you pick once the e-mail is there. If you cancel step 2, only step 1 stays.

### What does "Notify your team" need?

A Slack pipeline. The template picks the workspace's first Slack pipeline, or you choose one. Connected targets such as Slack need Pro, and every delivery costs credits (see the price list).

### Why didn't a template act on contacts already in my list?

"Enrich, then pass on" and "Notify your team" fire on "a record is new in the list", so they only see records that arrive after you save. To include records already there, use a trigger with "a record is new or was changed" and tick Include records that already match.

### Where are the templates once my list has triggers?

In a fold-out under Choose a template, below your trigger cards.
