The workspace menu shows which workspace you are in, lets you switch to
another one, and is where you create new workspaces. Everything you see in
the app (lists, Saved, Inbox, research, pipelines) belongs to the workspace
that is active right now.

## Open the workspace menu

- On **Home**, click the workspace name in the header.
- Or open your **avatar menu** and click the row with the workspace name.
This works on every page and on phones.

The menu shows:

- your workspaces, each with its number of members and a check mark on the
  active one
- **Invites** for your e-mail address, with **Join** and **Decline** (only
  when you have any)
- **Members & invites** and **Workspace settings**
- **Plan in this workspace**, with the plan name and whose subscription pays
for it ("Through your subscription" or the owner's name)
- **Create workspace**

## Switch workspaces

Click another workspace in the menu. The app reloads in that workspace, and
other open ListPlus tabs follow. ListPlus remembers the active workspace,
also on your other devices. If you belong to more than one workspace, the
browser tab title also shows the workspace name.

## Create a workspace

1. Open the workspace menu and click **Create workspace**.
2. Enter a name (up to 80 characters), for example "Client Miller".
3. Click **Create**.

The new workspace starts empty and becomes active. Its credits and plan are
yours, because you own it. Creating workspaces is free and unlimited.

## Rename a workspace

Open the workspace menu → **Workspace settings**, change the **Name** and
click **Save**. Only the owner and admins can change the name. Each workspace
gets a colour automatically; it can't be changed.

## Moving a list to another workspace

There is no move between workspaces. Export the list (for example as CSV or
Excel) and import the file in the other workspace. The import counts as a
new list there, with the usual import cost and the record limit of that
workspace's owner.

## FAQ

### How do I switch to another workspace?

On Home, click the workspace name in the header, or open your avatar menu and click the workspace row. Pick the workspace you want; the app reloads in it and your other open tabs follow.

### I can't find my lists. Where did they go?

You're probably in a different workspace, because lists, Saved contacts, the Inbox and pipelines belong to one workspace each. Open the workspace menu (workspace name on Home or the workspace row in your avatar menu) and switch to the workspace that holds them.

### How do I create a new workspace?

Open the workspace menu (workspace name in the Home header or the workspace row in your avatar menu) and click Create workspace. Enter a name and click Create. The new workspace is free, starts empty, and runs on your plan and credits.

### How do I rename a workspace?

Open the workspace menu → Workspace settings, change the Name and click Save. Only the owner and admins of the workspace can rename it.

### Can I change the colour of a workspace?

No. Each workspace gets a colour automatically, so you can tell them apart in the menu. You can change its name in Workspace settings.

### How do I move a list to another workspace?

There is no direct move between workspaces. Export the list as a file (CSV, Excel or JSON) and import it in the other workspace. The import creates a new list there, with the usual import cost of 1 credit.

### Which workspace am I in right now?

The active workspace's name shows in the Home header and in your avatar menu. In the workspace menu, the active one has a check mark. If you belong to several workspaces, the browser tab title also shows its name.

### Where do I see which plan applies in this workspace?

Open the workspace menu and look at "Plan in this workspace". It shows the plan name and either "Through your subscription" or the name of the owner whose subscription pays for it.
