The ListPlus extension for Chrome

Updated Markdown

The ListPlus extension for Chrome is a saved list that lives in your browser. You collect the people and companies you come across while browsing, LinkedIn above all, add a note if you like, and hand them over to a ListPlus list when you are ready. ListPlus then does the rest: enrich them, sort out what does not fit, draft the first email and send the leads on to your CRM through the rules and pipelines of that list.

The extension itself stays small on purpose. It has three jobs: keep a saved list in the browser, read whole pages that list people or companies, and hand selected entries over to ListPlus.

Getting it#

Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store. The link is on the page listplus.ai/en/chrome-extension, under Add to Chrome. Afterwards, pin the icon to the Chrome toolbar so it is always one click away.

The extension starts as a popup. Press the dock button (Dock as side panel) and it becomes a side panel that stays open next to the page while you browse; from then on the icon opens the panel. The undock button (Undock) turns it back into a popup.

Account#

You do not need a ListPlus account to save. Saving, notes, folders and export work without one. To hand entries over, and to use Open in ListPlus, log in to ListPlus in the same Chrome profile. The Basic plan is enough. If you are not logged in when you hand over, the extension tells you (Log in to hand over); your saved list stays where it is.

Where your data lives#

Your saved list lives only in this browser, in your Chrome profile. It holds up to 5,000 entries with their notes, and it is not synced to other devices or to ListPlus. Nothing of it reaches ListPlus until you hand entries over, and then only the entries you selected. The header says it as well: Local.

If you want leads on another device, hand them over to a ListPlus list or export them as CSV or Excel.

Languages#

The extension speaks English, German, Spanish and French, the same languages as ListPlus. It follows your browser's language. To pick another one, open the settings with the arrow button at the right of the footer (Detections & settings) and choose the language in the menu under Settings; Browser language goes back to the default.

What it costs#

The extension is free. Saving and reading pages cost nothing. Only the optional enrichment at the hand-over uses credits: it is switched off until you tick it, it is charged per hit, and the price is shown before you confirm.

Privacy in short#

  • The extension sends nothing by itself. Only a hand-over sends the entries you selected to ListPlus.
  • On LinkedIn it saves the address and the title of the page by default. It reads details such as headline, location and photo only after you switch on Read details from LinkedIn pages. Please mind LinkedIn's User Agreement when you do.
  • Reading whole pages uses the AI built into Chrome, on your own computer. The page's content stays on your device.
  • Save people and companies with the Chrome extension: one click, notes, auto mode, folders.
  • Read whole pages with the Chrome extension: turn a page of speakers, exhibitors or investors into records.
  • Hand over from the Chrome extension to ListPlus: choose the list, enrich, and what happens after.

FAQ#

How do I install the ListPlus Chrome extension?#

Add it from the Chrome Web Store through the Add to Chrome button on listplus.ai/en/chrome-extension. Then pin the icon to the toolbar. It opens as a popup first.

Does the ListPlus Chrome extension cost anything?#

No, the extension is free. Only the optional enrichment at the hand-over uses credits: it is off until you tick it, charged per hit, and the price is shown before you confirm.

Do I need a ListPlus account to use the extension?#

Not to save. Saving, notes, folders and export work without an account. To hand entries over to a list or use Open in ListPlus, log in to ListPlus in the same Chrome profile; the Basic plan is enough.

Where is my saved list stored?#

In your Chrome profile on this computer only, up to 5,000 entries with notes. Nothing of it goes to ListPlus until you hand entries over, and then only the ones you selected.

Is my saved list synced across my devices?#

No, the saved list is not synced. To use leads on another device, hand them over to a ListPlus list or export them as CSV or Excel.

What happens to my saved list if I remove the extension?#

Chrome deletes an extension's stored data when you remove it, so your saved list is gone with it. Hand over or export what you want to keep first. Entries you already handed over stay in your ListPlus list.

Does the extension work in Edge, Firefox or other browsers?#

The extension is made for Google Chrome and offered in the Chrome Web Store. Reading whole pages also needs Chrome's built-in AI on a computer that meets its requirements; elsewhere that feature stays off and everything else still works.

Which languages does the extension support?#

English, German, Spanish and French. It follows your browser's language by default; to change it, open Detections & settings (the arrow button in the footer) and pick the language under Settings.

Should I use the popup or the side panel?#

The side panel stays open while you browse, so it suits saving several leads in a row. Press the dock button (Dock as side panel) to switch to it and Undock to go back to the popup.

Does the extension send my browsing or page content to ListPlus?#

No. It sends nothing by itself; only a hand-over sends the entries you selected. Page details are read only if you switch on Read details from LinkedIn pages, and whole-page reading runs on the AI built into Chrome on your own device.
