What is a workspace?

A workspace is the place where you and your team work on the same lists, contacts and pipelines. Everyone you invite sees and works on the same data, and everything paid in the workspace runs on the plan and credits of one person: the workspace owner.

What you get when you sign up#

Every account gets its own workspace on sign-up, named after the first part of your e-mail address (for example "anna Workspace"). You can work alone in it, invite teammates into it, or create more workspaces. Creating workspaces and adding members is free and unlimited.

What is shared in a workspace#

Everyone in the workspace sees and works on the same:

  • Lists and projects
  • Saved contacts and their folders
  • Inbox entries
  • AI Research runs (a teammate's run shows "by" and their name)
  • Pipelines
  • Connected accounts (CRM, Google Sheets and other apps) and API connections
  • Block List
  • Usage history for the workspace

What stays personal#

  • Your login, your display name and your app language
  • Your own credit balance and plan, which pay for the workspaces you own
  • Your AI request limits
  • Your personal Inbox forwarding address (one per workspace)

Who pays#

The workspace owner's plan and credits cover everything in that workspace. Members spend the owner's credits and never need a plan of their own. See "Credits, plan and limits in a workspace" for the details.

Typical setups#

  • A team: one workspace, the person with the subscription is the owner, colleagues join as members or admins.
  • An agency: one workspace per client ("e.g. Client Miller"), so each client's lists and contacts stay apart.
  • Freelancer working for a client: the client invites you into their workspace, and the client's plan and credits pay for your work there.

Per-list sharing no longer exists#

You no longer share single lists with single people. Instead, invite the person into the workspace that holds the list. To give someone a list from a different workspace, export it and import it there. The only other way to show a list to outsiders is a public list, which is read-only for anyone with the link.

Can I use ListPlus with my team?#

Yes. Invite your colleagues into your workspace (workspace menu in the Home header → Members & invites), and everyone works on the same lists, Saved contacts, Inbox, research and pipelines. Members are free, and all paid actions run on the workspace owner's plan and credits.

What do the members of a workspace share?#

Everyone in the workspace sees and works on the same data. What each person may change depends on their role (Owner, Admin or Member).

What stays personal when I'm in a workspace?#

Your login, display name and app language stay yours, and so do your own credit balance and plan. AI request limits count per person, and each person gets their own Inbox forwarding address in each workspace. Your credits only pay for workspaces you own.

Does every colleague need their own ListPlus account?#

Yes. Each person signs in with their own e-mail address and one-time code, which is why nobody shares a login. A colleague without an account creates one while accepting your invite ("Sign in and join"), and gets no bill: members work on the owner's plan and credits.

Do workspaces or extra members cost anything?#

No. Creating workspaces and inviting members is free, and there is no per-seat price. All credits spent in a workspace come from the owner's balance, and the owner's plan sets the limits for everyone in it.

How many workspaces can I have?#

As many as you like. You can own several workspaces and be a member of others at the same time. Your plan covers every workspace you own.

I run an agency. How should I set up my clients?#

Create one workspace per client (workspace menu → Create workspace), so each client's lists, contacts and connected accounts stay separate. Your plan and credits pay for all workspaces you own, and the record limit counts across all of them. If a client should pay, let the client own the workspace and invite you.

Can I still share a single list with one person?#

No, per-list sharing was replaced by workspaces. Invite the person into the workspace that holds the list, or export the list and let them import it in their own workspace. Making a list public is the only other option, and it exposes the list to anyone with the link.
