Where does the data come from?
ListPlus does not own a contact database. Every lookup calls a specialised data provider at the moment you ask for it, and the result is written into your list. Which provider answers depends on what you're doing.

LinkedIn imports#
Importing from LinkedIn (a Sales Navigator search, a company's employees, a profile search, or a post's reactions or comments) runs through a specialised LinkedIn data provider on ListPlus's side. It never signs in with your LinkedIn account and never uses your session.
The company cache#
Company data (industry, size, location and more) is the same for every customer who looks up the same domain, so ListPlus keeps a shared result per domain and reuses it for free when anyone looks up that domain again — no new provider call, no credits charged. Person data (emails, phone numbers, job titles) is never shared between customers. Repeating one of your own LinkedIn lookups within 30 days reuses your earlier result for free; person lookups (Prospeo, FullEnrich) that returned data are reused for 7 days in your account, and lookups that found nothing are run again.
How current the data is#
Prospeo's own figures for Segment Search: roughly 300 million profiles and 143 million verified email addresses, updated weekly by the provider — that claim is theirs, not independently verified by ListPlus. Other lookups query the provider when you ask. If you repeat a lookup, ListPlus may reuse an earlier result instead of charging again: company details from the shared company cache, your own LinkedIn lookups for 30 days, and your person lookups (Prospeo, FullEnrich) and email checks for 7 days.

No. ListPlus holds no contact database of its own; every lookup calls a specialised data provider live, and the result is saved into your list. Segment Search is the one exception where you're browsing a provider's database directly through ListPlus's filters.

CompanyEnrich. When ListPlus's company cache already holds current data for a domain (industry, employee count, location and more), the lookup costs nothing.
How is my email verification checked?#
By MillionVerifier. Obvious cases such as disposable addresses are caught by a free pre-check first. Everything else is checked by MillionVerifier, and a result is reused for 7 days if you verify the same address again.

Contact details such as emails, phone numbers and profiles come from data providers' lookups or public web sources with evidence — they're not invented by AI. Fields you create yourself with AI Analysis or an AI Column (such as gender, seniority or industry) are AI-derived, and you run those explicitly.
