Data sources: the full provider table

Updated Markdown

This is the full provider-by-provider table behind "Where does the data come from?". For exact prices, see "Price list: what every action costs" and "AI, research and import costs" — this page links to those instead of repeating every number.

Notes on this table#

  • "On a hit" means the provider is only charged when it actually returns a value; a miss costs nothing. The exceptions are noted in the table and detailed in the price list.
  • Several rows share the same underlying provider under different button labels depending on where you start them (Enrich menu, record panel, single-cell fill window, or a Person Search card) — see "What does one contact cost?" for how to tell them apart.
  • The ListPlus company cache is separate from any single provider's own caching: it's domain data shared across all ListPlus customers, and free to reuse. Person data (emails, phone numbers, job titles) is never shared between customers.
  • AI Research's core reasoning is billed by usage, not per provider call; only the three opt-in sources in this table (BuiltWith, Reddit, X) have a fixed per-call rate. See "AI, research and import costs" for the exact numbers.

FAQ#

Is there one table that lists every data provider ListPlus uses?#

Yes — this page. Each row names the provider, what it delivers, where you trigger it in ListPlus, what input it needs, and when it charges. For the short version grouped by task, see "Where does the data come from?".

Which provider does Segment Search use?#

Prospeo. It's a licensed B2B contact database that also powers "Contact Brief" and "Reveal Mobile Number" elsewhere in ListPlus.

Which provider verifies my email addresses?#

MillionVerifier, checked live against the mail server. It charges 0.1 credits only when the result is valid, invalid or disposable — catch-all and unknown results are free, and obviously invalid addresses (bad format, disposable domains, role-based addresses) are marked invalid for free before the service is called.

Does Google search cost credits anywhere?#

No. Google search is always free, whether it's finding a LinkedIn URL or company website by name, or searching the open web throughout an AI Research run.

What's the difference between CompanyEnrich and the ListPlus company cache?#

CompanyEnrich is the provider that looks up a company's details from its domain or name, charged 0.25 credits on a hit. ListPlus's company cache sits in front of it: when the cache already holds current data for a domain, the lookup is free and no new provider call is made.

Where do Reddit and X results in AI Research come from, and do they cost extra?#

They're opt-in paid sources you switch on under "Unlock additional sources (paid)" in AI Research: Reddit search and X (Twitter) search, each charged per search call the agent makes, whether or not it turns up something useful. Exact rates are in "AI, research and import costs".

Which provider gives me funding and technology data for a company?#

Crunchbase provides funding, technology and growth data via "Company Profile Crunchbase," charged on a hit. BuiltWith is a separate, narrower technology-stack lookup, available as a paid source inside AI Research and as "Tech Stack" in the record panel and the Person Search drawer's company card.

Why do some providers appear twice under different labels?#

The same provider lookup can show a different button label depending on where you start it — the Enrich menu, the record panel, the single-cell fill window, or a Person Search card. "What does one contact cost?" and the price list spell out every label for each lookup.
