Which Enrich button do I use?

Updated Markdown

ListPlus has several ways to start an enrichment, and they all end up in the same engine — the difference is only scope: how many rows and which fields. This article is a decision table for picking the right one. For how the enrichment itself works, costs and the review step, see "How enrichment works," "Find a verified email," "Find phone and mobile numbers," and "Fill empty cells with enrichment data."

Evaluation cockpit#

Click the Find & evaluate field in the middle of the list header and choose an evaluation (for example Cold Email or CRM Quality) under "Choose evaluation" — this is the same picker used to grade your list against a campaign goal. Once an evaluation is active, a strip appears under the header showing how many rows are ready, enrichable, and unusable for that goal, plus an "Enrich" button. Clicking it opens an Enrich dialog for the rows counted as enrichable (or only the enrichable rows in your current selection). It groups them by what they are missing ("Gap patterns"), shows the route and the worst case ("at most N Cr"), and lets you untick patterns. Nothing is charged until you click "Start enrichment". Contacts with nothing to search from are skipped and not charged. Use "Edit evaluations" in the same picker to change which fields a goal requires.

AI command (Prompts panel)#

The Prompts panel (More → Prompts in the list header) — type into the "Ask about your data..." field — accepts plain requests such as "enrich company data from email domains," "get company info from LinkedIn," or "find LinkedIn profiles by name and company." The AI works out which enrich task fits and runs it through the same enrichment engine and charge rules as every other button here, with the same review step before cells are filled. Every AI command is also billed by usage, typically a small fraction of a credit for understanding the request (see "How credits work"); for a paid enrichment task, that AI-command charge comes on top of the enrichment's own credits. Unlike the selection bar, a typed request starts right away without showing a worst-case cost first — if you want to see the cost before anything is charged, use the selection bar's Enrich instead.

FAQ#

Which button should I use to enrich my whole list at once?#

Click Enrich in the list toolbar and pick a ready-made bundle like Campaign-Ready or Full Profile, or a single step such as Company Lookup. It runs on the whole list without you picking fields one by one.

How do I fill just one field for a group of selected rows?#

Select the rows, click Enrich in the selection bar, and pick exactly the field you need (for example Person → Contact details → Email) in the field picker. This gives you the most control over scope before anything is charged.

What's the fastest way to fix a single empty cell?#

Hover over the empty cell and click the wand icon that appears — it opens a single-cell window listing every route that can fill it, cheapest first.

How do I run several lookups on one contact?#

Open that row's record panel. It offers every single lookup for that one contact and shows any enrichment data already stored for the row.

What is the Enrich button in the strip under the header, and when do I see it?#

It only appears once you've picked an evaluation (a campaign goal like Cold Email) from the "Find & evaluate" field's "Choose evaluation" picker. It then shows ready/enrichable/unusable counts for that goal, and its Enrich button opens a plan for the enrichable rows, and you start it with "Start enrichment".

Can I just type what I want instead of clicking through menus?#

Yes — the Prompts panel (More → Prompts in the list header) — type into the "Ask about your data..." field — takes plain requests like "enrich company data from email domains" or "find LinkedIn profiles by name and company," and the AI works out the right enrichment task and runs it through the normal enrichment engine.

Does typing an enrichment request cost more than clicking the Enrich menu?#

The enrichment itself is charged the same way either way. Typing the request adds the usual small AI-command usage fee for understanding your message, on top of any enrichment credits the task itself spends.

I don't have any rows selected — can I still enrich?#

Yes. With nothing selected, the Enrich menu in the toolbar runs on the whole list, the wand icon fills one cell, and the record panel handles one row at a time — the selection bar is only needed when you want to target specific rows.
