Get emails and phone numbers
In Segment Search (Segmentsuche) results, a masked preview shows you that a verified email or mobile number exists for a person before you pay for it. Revealing the real value is a separate, optional step you trigger yourself, and you're only charged when ListPlus actually finds the number or address. Opening a row also auto-loads the profile's basics for about 0.75 credits — a separate cost from any reveal, and one you can turn off.
The masked preview and the green check#
In the results table, the Email and Mobile columns show a partly
hidden value with a green check mark whenever the data provider has a
verified email or mobile on file for that person — for example
j***@a****.com. No check mark and an empty cell means the provider has
nothing verified for that field; revealing it may still work through a
name-and-company lookup, but there's no known hit to unlock. The masked
value itself is never a real, usable address — it only proves a match
exists.
Reveal a single result#
Click a row to open its profile. Under Reachability, the Work email and Mobile number slots each have a Reveal button showing the price: Reveal · 2 Cr for a verified email (plus the company's main phone number), Reveal · 12 Cr for a personal mobile. The verified email is matched by LinkedIn URL when known, otherwise by name and company. You're charged 2 credits only when a verified email is found, and 12 credits only when a mobile number is found. The same email lookup appears as "Verified Email & Company Phone" under the profile's Enrich button.
Company phone vs. mobile#
"Company Phone" from the Verified Email & Company Phone card is the company's main switchboard number, not a line that reaches this person directly. A personal, verified mobile number is a separate lookup — the Reveal · 12 Cr mobile card — because it comes from a different, more expensive verification step.
Confirmation for bigger charges#
Any single reveal of 10 credits or more first shows a "Paid enrichment" confirmation with the credit cost, with Enrich and Cancel buttons. Reveal · 12 Cr under Reachability asks first. The 2-credit email reveal runs straight away. Under Enrich, "Find mobile number" tries the 12-credit reveal first without asking. Only if that finds nothing does it ask before a deeper 30-credit search, which is charged when it returns data.
Reveal for many rows at once#
After adding results to a list, select the rows you want (or use the header checkbox to select all), click Enrich in the selection bar, then pick Contact details → Phone (or Email) in the field picker and confirm. Phone runs the 12-credit mobile reveal, and ListPlus charges it only for rows where a number is found; for Email, the plan dialog shows the route and its cost before you confirm, and some routes charge per attempt. Rows that already have the field filled can be excluded with the "only what is missing" option.

FAQ#
What does the masked email or mobile in Segment Search mean?#
It's a preview like j***@a****.com showing that a verified value exists for that person on the data provider's side — it's never a real, usable address itself. See "How do I reveal a verified email address?" and "How do I reveal a mobile number?" below for how to unlock it.
What does the green check mark next to an email or mobile mean?#
It means the data provider has a verified email or mobile number on file for that person. No check mark and an empty cell means nothing verified is on file for that field, though a name-and-company lookup can sometimes still find one.
How do I reveal a verified email address?#
Open the result's profile and click Reveal · 2 Cr next to Work email under Reachability. It's charged only when a verified email is actually found; the same lookup is labeled "Verified Email & Company Phone" under the profile's Enrich button.
How do I reveal a mobile number?#
Open the result's profile and click Reveal · 12 Cr next to Mobile number under Reachability; it asks you to confirm first. You're only charged if a number is actually found — a miss is free.
What's the difference between "company phone" and a mobile number?#
"Company Phone," included with the 2-credit Verified Email & Company Phone card, is the company's general switchboard number, not a direct line to that person. A personal, verified mobile number is a separate 12-credit lookup via "Reveal Mobile Number."
Do I pay if a reveal doesn't find anything?#
No — both the email/company-phone reveal (2 credits) and the mobile reveal (12 credits) only charge you when the lookup actually returns a value. The optional 30-credit deep mobile search under Enrich → Find mobile number is charged whenever it returns data.
Why does revealing a mobile number ask me to confirm first?#
Revealing a mobile with Reveal · 12 Cr in the profile's Reachability section shows a "Paid enrichment" confirmation first, because it costs 10 credits or more. The 2-credit email reveal runs without asking. "Find mobile number" under Enrich runs the 12-credit reveal directly and asks only before escalating to the 30-credit deep search.
Can I reveal emails or mobile numbers for many rows at once?#
Yes — after adding results to a list, select the rows, click Enrich in the selection bar, and choose Contact details → Phone (the 12-credit mobile reveal) or Email in the field picker. Phone is charged only for rows where a mobile is found; for Email, the plan dialog shows the route and its cost before you confirm, and some routes charge per attempt.
If I already saw the masked preview in Segment Search, does revealing it later in the list still find it?#
Yes — the row carries over its LinkedIn URL, name and company, so the same reveal typically finds the same match once you run it in the list. Adding a row to a list never fills the email or mobile cell automatically; the cell stays empty until you run the reveal, in Segment Search or afterwards in the list.
