Importing from a URL or a Google Sheets link

Instead of uploading a file, you can point ListPlus at a direct link to a CSV, Excel or JSON file, or at a public Google Sheets link.

How it works#

On the New List page, click Load from URL below the file drop area, paste the link, and click Load data. ListPlus fetches the file, then takes you through the same preview, field-type check and naming steps as a regular file import — see "Create a list and import a file" for that part. Your credit balance is checked before the import starts, and you'll see an error if it isn't enough.

Paste the sheet's share link directly — ListPlus tries to read it without you downloading anything first. The sheet must be shared as "Anyone with the link can view," or the load fails; see "Import problems" for the exact error and how to fix the sharing setting or download the file instead.
