Which plan do I need?
Pick a plan by what you actually want to do, not by feature count: Basic covers file-based work, Pro adds Google Sheets, Airtable and Lemlist plus a higher record limit, and Premium adds HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Notion, Stripe, priority support and the highest record limit. All three plans already include every finder (Person Search, Segment Search, AI Research), every enrichment provider, all quality checks, file import/export, and the Agent API — see "Which plans does ListPlus have?" for prices and what each plan includes.

What happens when a feature needs a higher plan#
If you click a data source in "Or connect your system" that your plan doesn't unlock — for example HubSpot on Basic — its card shows a small lock icon, and selecting it opens a screen with a heading like "HubSpot requires Premium" explaining what that plan adds. It has two buttons: Go Back, and Upgrade to Premium — €79/mo, which takes you straight to Plans & Billing to subscribe. If an import or an action on an existing list would push you over your record limit, it's held back until you delete records or upgrade — see "What happens if an import would put me over my limit?" in Record limit.
Plans in a team#
In a workspace, only the owner needs a plan: the owner's plan applies to every member of every workspace the owner owns, and members are free. Pick the plan for the combined needs of the team, because the record limit counts the lists of all the owner's workspaces together. See "Credits, plan and limits in a workspace".
Credits are needed on every plan#
A plan controls what you can connect and how many records you can hold — it doesn't include a monthly credit allowance. Every enrichment lookup and AI action is paid from your credit balance on Basic, Pro and Premium alike; see "How do credits work?" for what you get for free and how to buy more.

Searching, enriching, AI Research, quality checks and the Agent API work the same on every plan.
What can I do on Basic without upgrading?#
On Basic you can already import and export files (CSV, Excel, JSON), use every finder — Person Search, Segment Search, AI Research — every enrichment provider and quality check, and the Agent API to connect a list to an AI agent. What stays locked on Basic is connecting Google Sheets, Airtable, Lemlist (Pro) or HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Notion, Stripe (Premium) and a higher record limit; both need Pro or Premium.
Why is a connection locked, and what do I see?#
Connecting a data source under "Or connect your system" on the New List page depends on your plan: Google Sheets, Airtable and Lemlist need Pro, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Notion and Stripe need Premium — Phantombuster, Zoom and file import/export are currently not locked. A locked source shows a small lock icon, and opening it shows a screen like "HubSpot requires Premium" with two buttons: Go Back, and Upgrade to Premium — €79/mo, which takes you to Plans & Billing. You can browse every source; you just can't connect a locked one until you upgrade.
Can I export my list on Basic?#
Yes, downloading a list as a file (CSV, Excel, JSON and more) works on every plan, including Basic. Importing from connected tools such as Google Sheets or HubSpot is what needs Pro or Premium.
Do I need Premium for the API or an AI agent connection?#
No — the Agent API (REST and MCP) for connecting a list to an AI agent like Claude is included on every plan, including Basic, with no plan check. It's separate from connecting third-party tools like HubSpot or Google Sheets under "Or connect your system", which does depend on your plan.
Can I try a Pro or Premium feature before paying?#
You can see every locked feature — its card, description and lock icon are all visible on Basic or Pro — but you can't actually use it until you subscribe to the plan that unlocks it. There's no time-limited trial of a locked integration or a higher record limit.
Which plan does my team need?#
Only the workspace owner needs a plan; members work on the owner's plan and credits for free. Choose it for the whole team's needs: the record limit counts all lists in all workspaces the owner owns, and the integrations unlock for every member.
