Commands (⌘K) and keyboard shortcuts

Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) anywhere in the app to open Commands — a searchable list of every action and page ListPlus offers. Type to filter, use the arrow keys and Enter to run something, or Escape to close it.

What's in it#

Commands groups everything by category: Navigation (Go to Home, Lists, Person Search, Segment Search, AI Research, Inbox, Saved, Plans & Billing, Usage, and a specific list by name), File, Edit, View (open a panel), Enrichment (every single lookup and AI analysis, plus the ready-made wizards), Analytics, Export, Sublists and Advanced. Some entries only appear once a list is open, and enrichment actions only appear once you have edit access. At the top, a Recent section shows up to 5 of your last-used commands, remembered per browser.

Jump to a specific list#

Go to List opens a search box over every list you have, sorted by most recently changed — type to filter and press Enter to open the top match. It's the fastest way to reach a specific list from anywhere; the same lists are also one click away in the Lists view's tree, and Home has a Search lists... field. Almost everything else in Commands also has a button or menu entry somewhere in the app; Commands is a faster way to reach it, not the only way.

Shortcuts that work without opening Commands first#

Most rows in Commands show a keyboard shortcut next to the label, but only a few of those are wired up as real, always-on shortcuts:

• ⌘K / Ctrl+K — open or close Commands, from any page.
• ⌘⇧L / Ctrl+Shift+L — Show/hide left column: in the Lists view it collapses or expands the project/list tree; on the Inbox, Saved, Pipelines, Segment Search and AI Research pages it does the same for their left column; on any other page it opens the Lists view. Each page remembers its column's width and whether it's collapsed. Inside a list, the tree starts collapsed so the grid gets the full width; the left columns of the other pages start open. Clicking the left-rail item of the page you're already on also reopens its collapsed column (not on phones).
• ⌘⇧D / Ctrl+Shift+D — inside a list, open Data Quality – Checks & Selections on its overview.
• ⌘F / Ctrl+F — inside a list, jump to and select the Find & evaluate field in the header (it does not open Find & Replace). See "Search, filter, sort, and find & replace" for the swap icon and Commands entry that open Find & Replace itself.

Other rows, such as Save shown with a ⌘S label, describe what the button does but aren't bound as a live keyboard shortcut — pressing the key combination does nothing in ListPlus; click the entry in Commands, or the matching button in the list, instead.

Editing shortcuts#

Undo/redo, copy/paste and the fill handle are documented in "Editing cells, undo/redo, and adding rows" — they work directly in the grid and don't need Commands at all.

FAQ#

How do I open Commands?#

Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows/Linux — it works from any page in the app, not just inside a list. Press Escape, or click outside the box, to close it.

What can I do from Commands?#

Jump to any page or list, open a panel, run any enrichment lookup or AI analysis, or trigger export and sublist actions — Commands lists everything currently available to you, grouped by category, and lets you search by typing.

What does the Recent section show?#

Up to 5 of the commands you ran most recently, remembered in your browser so they're still there next time you open Commands. It's per browser, not synced across devices.

Is there anything I can only do from Commands?#

No — almost every command also has a button or menu entry elsewhere in the app. Go to List is simply the fastest way to open a specific list by name (type, then Enter opens the top match); the same lists are one click away in the Lists view's tree, and Home has a Search lists field.

Which keyboard shortcuts actually work without opening Commands?#

⌘K / Ctrl+K opens Commands, ⌘⇧L / Ctrl+Shift+L shows or hides the left column of the current page (the list tree in the Lists view; opening the Lists view from pages without one), ⌘⇧D / Ctrl+Shift+D opens Data Quality – Checks & Selections on its overview inside a list, and ⌘F / Ctrl+F jumps to the Find & evaluate field. Shortcut labels shown next to other rows in Commands, like ⌘S for Save, are not live keyboard shortcuts.

Does ⌘F open Find & Replace?#

No — ⌘F / Ctrl+F jumps to and selects the Find & evaluate field in the list header. To open Find & Replace itself, click the swap icon at the right end of that field, or choose Find & Replace in Commands; see "Search, filter, sort, and find & replace" for the full flow.
