Selecting rows and the selection bar
Selecting rows#
Tick the checkbox at the left of each row you want — clicking anywhere else on the row opens or edits a cell instead of selecting it. Tick the checkbox in the column header to select every row that matches the current filter, search or sublist, including rows further down that you haven't scrolled to — not necessarily your whole list.
The selection bar#
As soon as one or more rows are selected, a selection bar appears above the grid: a count of selected rows, Tag, an Add menu, Enrich, already showing how many rows it would enrich, and a ⋯ menu (Hide selected records, Restore, and Delete if you're allowed to delete rows on this list). Click the × next to the count to clear the selection. On a public list you can only view, Tag, the ⋯ menu and the sublist option are hidden.
- Tag — type a new tag and press Enter, or click one of your list's existing tags to apply it to every selected row.
- Add — groups where the selection can go:
- To sublist (under "In this list") — add the selection to an existing manual sublist, or start a new one from it. Smart sublists aren't offered, since their rows are set by rules rather than manually.
- Add to list (under "Elsewhere") — copy the selected contacts into another list.
- Send to pipeline (under "Elsewhere") — put the selected rows into one of your workspace's pipelines as waiting entries; nothing is sent until someone releases them in the pipeline. See "Pipelines — send records on to your CRM, Slack, e-mail or API".
- Enrich — see which-enrich-button for how to pick the right lookup.
When an evaluation is active#
If a campaign-ready evaluation such as Cold Email is active, the selection bar is replaced by the evaluation bar (see campaign-ready-evaluations): Tag, Add and the ⋯ menu aren't available there, only an Enrich button scoped to your selected, still-enrichable rows. Choose No evaluation in Find & evaluate to get the regular selection bar back.

FAQ#
How do I select rows in a list?#
Tick the checkbox at the left of each row you want — clicking anywhere else on the row opens or edits a cell instead of selecting it. Tick the checkbox in the column header to select every row that matches the current filter, search or sublist, including rows further down that you haven't scrolled to.
Does "select all" select my whole list or just what's on screen?#
It selects every row that matches the current filter, search or sublist, including rows further down that you haven't scrolled to — not your whole list unless nothing is filtering it. Clear the filter first if you want every row in the list selected.
What appears when I select rows?#
A selection bar appears above the grid showing how many rows are selected, with Tag, an Add menu (to a sublist, to another list or to a pipeline), an Enrich button that already shows how many rows it would enrich, and a ⋯ menu (Hide, Restore or Delete, if you're allowed to delete on this list). Click the × next to the count to clear your selection.
How do I tag selected rows?#
Click Tag in the selection bar, then either type a new tag and press Enter, or click one of your list's existing tags to apply it. It's applied to every row you currently have selected.
How do I add selected rows to a sublist?#
Click Add in the selection bar, then To sublist, and pick an existing manual sublist to add the selection to it, or start a new sublist from your selection. Smart sublists aren't offered here, since their rows are set by rules, not manually.
How do I enrich just a few rows instead of the whole list?#
Tick the checkboxes next to the rows you want and click Enrich in the selection bar — this only enriches the rows you selected. You see the maximum possible cost before confirming; most lookups charge only when they find something, with a few exceptions listed in "Find a verified email address".
Why does my selection bar look different or show different buttons?#
If a campaign-ready evaluation like Cold Email is active, the selection bar is replaced by the evaluation bar — Tag, Add and the ⋯ menu aren't available there, only an Enrich button scoped to your selected, still-enrichable rows. Choose No evaluation in Find & evaluate to get the regular selection bar back.
How do I send selected rows to a pipeline?#
Select the rows, click Add in the selection bar, then Send to pipeline and pick the pipeline. The rows wait there as entries until someone clicks Send in the pipeline, and sending costs no credits. See "Pipelines — send records on to your CRM, Slack, e-mail or API" for how pipelines work.
Can I hide or delete several rows at once from a selection?#
Yes — select the rows, open the ⋯ menu in the selection bar, and choose Hide (or Restore, if you're viewing hidden rows) or Delete, if you have permission to delete on that list. See duplicates for what hiding rows does and how to restore them.
